That moment when an RP on someone’s status elevates from “Hey, what’s going on?” “We should hang out some time.” to an actual, canon exchange, and both writers discover that these characters have absolutely no reason to be talking to one another. You can’t always save it with “He smiled and sat back on a chair” because suddenly, that establishes that they are in a place with a chair.
