fuck yeah roleplaying rabbit!

Obviously there are times when something is made better because of planning or plot, but there are some things just aren’t supposed to be fixed. Some things are supposed to be integral parts of the character. You’re not supposed to be able to wish it away or cure it with hugs. Real people in real life live with mental illness, body image issues, scarring, PTSD, irreparable damage both physical and psychological, disinterest in sex, magical inability, unpopular personality traits… you can’t always change those things. It’s not easy to change those things. There would not be so many therapies and medications and support groups if it were easy.

But having any of those things does not make them broken and in need of fixing. Chances are you would upset and offend a rather large percentage of real people if you implied anything of the sort. This goes for fictional characters as well. This has been explained. Why is it so offensive a concept?
