I never understood this. So, just because my character is good looking and nothing really detracts from her physical appearance she’s automatically labeled an mary-sue? Pfft.
What? You’re telling me she can’t have self-confidence either? So would you rather I riddle her body with scars and have them be the focal point of her interactions with people? If anything, I think that would make her a mary-sue and not the other way around. It’s not like I’m saying “she’s the most beautiful woman in existence” either, so what’s the problem?
