Y’know how they always tell you to get a rabies shot right after you get bitten by a wild animal? That’s for a really good reason. Symptoms of rabies in humans includes (but is not limited to) low-grade fever, muscle aches, anxiety, confusion, insomnia, agitation, hallucinations, slight or partial paralysis, inability to swallow, and dementia, all of which cumulates in death from respiratory failure.

And here I was, casually writing up an OC who got rabies when he was seven years old before doing my homework on exactly what that entailed.
