fuck yeah roleplaying rabbit!

I cannot fucking stand this, and it happens more often than you would think. I will never understand it; if you have a public roleplay, whether it’s open or not, you just shouldn’t do this! Most other RPers I know like to lurk threads that aren’t their own, and so do I, so seeing everything that’s going to happen in a plot be discussed in the open OOCly, it’s just… fuckin’ annoying. It’s as if you walked into a book or movie store, and someone at the counter told you the ending. If you know what’s going to happen, then why bother with the media? And then, even if you do keep an eye on it, it’s just not as interesting because you can guess that this or that will happen based on the ending.

I suppose that there are reasons for openly discussing plots, but for the most part, there isn’t. I have two or three very complicated things going on with a character of mine, and no one except for three or four people know anything about it. Myself and another partner have a huge number of ideas for something, and we haven’t told anyone about any of them except for one person, and even he doesn’t know very much.

Just… openly plotting takes the fun out of reading other RPs.
